Type of action: taking part in the walkathon
Today I attended the walkathon in Warsaw. It was quite an inspiring experience as I am not really familiar with the capital and I could take a walk around the city centre and nearby. I really liked the aim of the action, collecting money for the children from troubled families. What surprised me, was the number of people who attended it (almost 20.000 participants!), but it was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the attractions on the route, like dance and music bands performing. I think an idea of such an event is very good because it is not tiresome, good for health and really helpful for people in need.
