I graduated from the IB Diploma Programme at Paderewski Private Grammar School in Lublin in 2009. I was the member of Amnesty International school group. I used to write for the school magazine Playground and learn Spanish. See my background information form and CAS log.

Creativity: Spanish Classes
Thursday, October 28, 2010 @ 6:48 PM
Area: Creativity
Time: 3 h
Type of activity: learning Spanish
The classes this week were devoted to one of the most interesting tasks I've been doing so far. I was given a text of a myth (here with my example notes) to translate it from Polish to Spanish. As a story turned out to be written in a characteristic kind of poetic prose, it was quite a challenging but a pleasurable task. It gave me an insight into a more sophisticated vocabulary it would be difficult for me to get familiar with in different circumstances as I prefer prose over poetry.
